Units
Units Tab:
Drawing's units are used in measure tools (Distance, Area, Polyline Length etc.) - inches or millimeters.
Default drawing units - this section defines whether drawing units are imperial or metric when:
| • | opening images of Hewlett-Packard HPGL file formats |
Current drawing units - this section defines how drawing's units will be interpreted for the currently loaded file - inches or millimeters.
Current drawing - this section defines scale factor for the drawing's units:
| • | Scale factor - defines unit's multiplier |
For instance: loaded drawing's units are millimeters. You want to have coordinates in centimeters when using measuring tools. Set Scale factor equal 0.1. Now all measuring values will be in centimeters.
