Area
Area 
button on the toolbar or [Tools > Area] menu command provides measuring of the area on the drawing.
| • | On the toolbar, click . |
| • | Specify necessary area using left mouse button. Click once at each position where you want an area to be spread. |
| • | Right click when done. |
The results of measuring will appear like the following window:
Measuring units are defined on the Units tab.
Note: area measuring is supported for the planes parallel to XY plane. It means that Z coordinate for all points in the measured area have to be equal. Otherwise perimeter is being measured:
