Print a large image on a small printer
If you have an A4-format (210x297 mm) printer and a large image (drawing) 825x594 mm.
| • | Press Print Preview button on the toolbar or click [File > Print Preview], after a short while, the Print Preview dialog should appear. |
| • | In Device configuration section choose a printer |
| • | In Paper size and paper units section choose |
| o | Paper size (for example A4 - 210x297 mm) |
| o | Units value millimeters or inches (for example mm) |
| • | In Paper orientation section choose Landscape or Portrait paper orientation (for example Portrait) |
| o | choose predefined format A1 (840, 594) |
| o | Enter the following values |
| ▪ | Width 825, press the Enter button on your keyboard, value in the Height edit box will be set automatically |
| • | In Paper offset section you can choose the size of the printed zone on a paper sheet. This is made for easy combining the sheets after printing superimposing their friend on friend. Default is 1 mm on every side of the page is for superimposing, for example enter the following values |
Note: if Show Lineweight button on the toolbar is pressed then every line of the drawing gets weight according to Width of zero-width lines option.
Advice: use Black-White mode if you use Black-White printer and want to have all the lines with the same width and intensity.
