Create new drawing
Here goes simple example of creating new drawing:
| • | Click New button on the toolbar or select [File > New] menu command. ABViewer will be toggled to the Editor mode and blank CAD file will appear. |
| • | Click Options button on the toolbar or select [Tools > Options] menu command calls Options dialog box. Select Editor tab. Set Step by X size and Step by Y size equal 1. |
| • | Click Grid [Ctr + G] button on the toolbar or [Tools > Grid] menu command to switch on a grid on the drawing. |
| • | Toggle on Ortho button for drawing just vertical or parallel lines. |
| o | Point 1, 2. Click Polyline button on the toolbar or [Draw > Polyline] menu command. Left click on the image and drag mouse to the right. Use keyboard to enter "44" value and press Enter. First polyline section will arise. |
| o | Point 3. Drag mouse upwards and enter "12" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 4. Drag mouse to the right and enter "42" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 5. Drag mouse downwards and enter "12" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 6. Drag mouse to the right and enter "79" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 7. Drag mouse upwards and enter "40" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 8. Drag mouse to the left and enter "65" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Point 9. Drag mouse upwards and enter "60" on the keyboard and press Enter. Double-click to finish polyline or press Enter once more. |
| • | Toggle on Snap to Entities button on the toolbar or select [Tools > Snap > Snap to Entities] menu command. |
| o | Click Arc button on the toolbar or [Draw > Arc] menu command. |
| o | Catch Point 1. Snap rectangle appears when mouse cursor is over polyline vertexes. |
| o | Click once over Point 1 and drag pointer to Point 9. |
| o | Click over Point 9 and drag mouse on the top-left to make a bulged arc. Enter "50" on the keyboard and press Enter. Arc will be finished. |
| o | Click Dimension button on the toolbar or select [Draw > Dimension] menu command. |
| o | Click over Point 1. Drag mouse to the right and click over Point 2. |
| o | Drag mouse downwards, enter "10" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Click Dimension button on the toolbar or select [Draw > Dimension] menu command. |
| o | Click over Point 2. Drag mouse to the right and click over Point 5. |
| o | Drag mouse downwards, enter "10" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Click Dimension button on the toolbar or select [Draw > Dimension] menu command. |
| o | Click over Point 1. Drag mouse to the right and click over Point 6. |
| o | Drag mouse downwards, enter "20" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Click Dimension button on the toolbar or select [Draw > Dimension] menu command. |
| o | Click over Point 6. Drag mouse to the right and click over Point 7. |
| o | Drag mouse downwards, enter "10" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Click Arrow button on the toolbar or select [Draw > Arrow] menu command. |
| o | Click once in the middle of the arc. Drag mouse to the bottom right direction. |
| o | Find arc's center point. Snap rectangle will convert to circle form. |
| o | Enter "50" on the keyboard and press Enter. |
| o | Click Text button on the toolbar or [Draw > Text] menu command. |
| o | Click near starting point of the arrow. |
| o | Enter "R50" in the arisen window, click button. |
| o | Click over the "R50" text line on the drawing. Panel Properties will show "R50" text parameters. |
| o | Select Angle parameter and enter "-45" |
