Editor

Editor - this is editing main mode for ABViewer. In this mode ABViewer allows creating new CAD file, editing it or editing previously open CAD file and saving changes into AutoCAD™ DXF file format.

On the toolbar, click for creating new CAD file or select Editor from the drop down list for editing current:

Make necessary settings in the Properties panel.
Use Draw submenu for adding new entities: text, line, polyline, pen, arrow, dimension, hatch, rectangle, ellipse and arc.
Set necessary Snap mode (snap to entities and snap to the block's insert points).
Use Editing system allows copying, pasting, pasting by block, cutting and deleting selected entities and undo or redo your actions.
Use Properties panel for changing entities' properties.
Toggle on button for drawing just vertical or parallel lines:

ABViewer includes additional measurement tools. You can measure a distance between two points, a polyline length and an area on the drawing.
More over ABViewer allows changing a definition of the drawing units. This is very useful when creating new drawings or when working with CAD file which have no necessary measure marks.
On the toolbar, Save [Ctrl + S] button or [File > Save] menu command to save changes.
