Re: GetDrawingCoords

Re: GetDrawingCoords

RAD Studio XE3.

Re: Embed CAD .net in an other application ?

Hello,

CAD .NET provides a WinForms control named CADEditorControl which allows to draw CAD entities with a mouse or by C# code. All drawn objects can be later accessed (read/modified) through the control .NET API.

Re: TdwgReader fails to open this file

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for the file.

We could reproduce the Access Violation error when reading this file, it occurs in a TdwgDataBase.ReadSubEnts procedure (DWG.pas). I have forwarded the problem to CAD VCL development team by opening a support case.

Re: GetDrawingCoords

Re: How to Dimension

Can I get it to use a decimal point? Unfortunately, it is not possible to change a decimal separator. It also doesn't display what the unit of the dimension is in. It doesn't have to. All objects in a Model space (including dimensions) use decimal CAD units. You may replace the dimension text with ...

Re: How to Dimension

I have found that when I dimension, it shows in print preview. It does not show on the screen. Apparently, you have hidden all dimensions in the drawing by using a Measurements button (Viewer -> Hide -> Measurements). If the given button is highlighted, please click it - dimensions will be displaye...

I do not see a cstDimension entity anywhere in the structure tree.
In this case please try to create a new drawing in ABViewer, then draw a new dimension as described here:

I would like to know if is possible to triangulate a region entity as it is done with 3dsolids. Such that instead of this 8 lines we have a mesh of triangles in the list of entities.
Currently it is not possible.
